WELCOME
My name is James Burnham, and I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself. Since 2010, I've enjoyed helping people to buy and sell real estate in and around central New York, which is where I was born and raised.
Personal Background
I grew up just outside of Baldwinsville in the town of Lysander, graduated from JCB High School in 2002, and completed my Bachelor's Degree program at SUNY Oswego. I now reside just outside the village of Liverpool in an area that my family and I absolutely love. I enjoy the outdoors--hiking, biking, and kayaking are some of my favorites. I'm an animal lover, and we have a couple of rescues that are obviously family to us. I try to stay active in the community, and I've enjoyed volunteering with my daughter's school, Girl Scout troop, the YMCA, and as a bonded member of the LYSL Board of Directors.
Professional Background
I've been interested in real estate since long before I was a licensed salesperson. I can honestly say that I have had a passion for real estate since my school days, when I loved technical design and technical drawing, which sparked a passion towards architecture and an appreciation for building and construction. I have worked in both sales and construction in the past, as well as in customer service, and I really think I found my niche when joining Coldwell Banker Prime Properties in 2010 as a licensed Realtor. My first two home purchasing experiences occurred before I was a licensed agent, and knowing what I know today, I realize that I should have put an aggressive full-time agent to work for me. This may be perhaps one of the many reasons that I pursued a career in real estate and also why I get a true sense of accomplishment when I can guide clients (first-timers or not) through the entire process of selling or buying as smoothly as possible. My goal is to make all parties have a favorable real estate experience, one that can be appreciated for what it is--a transition from one chapter to the next.
I am extremely thankful for a career that I love that allows me the flexibility to make time for those important events in my family life while remaining dedicated to my clients and career through fast and effective communication and my continual study of the market and its fluctuations, along with the new rules and regulations that affect buyers and sellers alike. I've sold properties in several of the surrounding counties, and I'm happy to help you buy or sell property anywhere nearby within reason and even across the globe through an excellent worldwide referral network. I am a full-time, active, and aggressive "Top Producing" Realtor, and I am extremely passionate about what I do. I hope to hear from you soon. Education
I graduated from JCB High School in Phoenix, NY, with a Regents Diploma and with high honors. I was granted an academic scholarship to SUNY Oswego, where I received a Bachelor's degree with Cum Laude recognition. I take continuing education classes in real estate to keep up on the most current rules and technologies to ensure the highest level of service to my clients.
